Job Summary

  • The Export Manager is responsible for driving export growth and regional expansion across the Health & Wellness Division. The role focuses on identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing key healthcare relationships, and executing strategies to expand the Company’s presence across OECS territories and Guyana. The Export Manager ensures sustainable revenue growth, market competitiveness, and high-quality customer service through effective market intelligence, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute export growth strategies for the Health & Wellness portfolio across OECS territories and Guyana
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, distributors, and healthcare institutions
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor activities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, institutional stakeholders, and key decision-makers
  • Lead presentations, product demonstrations, and business reviews with customers and partners
  • Coordinate and manage regional business development initiatives, tenders, and commercial negotiations
  • Prepare business cases, feasibility studies, and territory development plans to support expansion strategies
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Supply Chain, Regulatory, Finance, and Sales to ensure effective execution of export activities
  • Monitor regulatory, healthcare, and procurement developments affecting export markets
  • Provide regular reporting on sales performance, pipeline opportunities, market intelligence, and customer activity
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase market share and expand customer base across assigned territories
  • Support new product launches and commercialization initiatives in regional markets
  • Maintain strong supplier relationships and align business objectives with regional growth plans
  • Monitor supplier performance and coordinate business reviews and strategic meetings
  • Ensure high levels of customer engagement, service delivery, and issue resolution
  • Manage receivables and support working capital objectives, including inventory and demand planning
  • Coach, mentor, and manage team members to achieve sales and performance targets
  • Represent the Company at regional conferences, exhibitions, and healthcare events
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory, quality, and company standards

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, healthcare, wellness, or a related industry
  • Experience working closely with healthcare professionals and medical institutions is required.
  • Experience in regional business development, export sales or institutional sales would be an asset.
  • Regional experience within the Caribbean (including distributor or hospital relationships) is advantageous

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to conduct market and feasibility assessments
  • Proven ability to drive results and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability and willingness to travel frequently within the OECS and Guyana
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, including coaching and performance management
