As ANSA McAL continues its path towards continued leadership and growth in our business sectors, we are pleased to announce the appointment of Erik Uddenberg as General Manager, Innovation, CARIB Brewery Ltd., effective 1 May 2026.  He will report directly to the Sector Head of Beverage.

This newly established role reflects the strategic importance of innovation to our long-term growth agenda. As General Manager, Innovation, Erik will have direct ownership of the innovation pipeline that represents our clearest path to the next generation of growth for the Beverage Sector. His focus will be on building future-ready portfolios, strengthening innovation governance, and accelerating how insight is translated into scalable, commercially meaningful outcomes.

Erik is no stranger to the organisation. Since joining CARIB in 2017 as Chief Marketing Officer, he has rebuilt the marketing and brand infrastructure with discipline and speed, modernised and standardised portfolio identity across markets, and established the insight, performance and innovation governance platforms that now underpin how our brands are managed and measured. Under his leadership, innovation evolved from a marginal activity into a significant contributor to sector growth.

Erik will continue to manage the full range of marketing responsibilities until his successor is appointed. The appointment of a new Chief Marketing Officer will be the subject of a future announcement.
