We are pleased to announce the appointment of Natalie Abrahams as Executive Director, Barbados & OECS, ANSA McAL (Barbados) Limited effective 1st October 2026. She will report directly to the Group Chief Operating Officer.
In this newly established role, Ms. Abrahams will serve as ANSA McAL’s senior representative in Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean, supporting the Group’s strategic objectives across the region. She will be responsible for strengthening stakeholder relationships, advancing regional growth opportunities, supporting external affairs and advocacy initiatives, and fostering greater collaboration among ANSA McAL companies operating throughout Barbados and the OECS.
Natalie brings more than 25 years of leadership experience across telecommunications, energy, consumer goods, professional services, and international development. Throughout her career, she has built a reputation for delivering transformational results, driving commercial growth, and leading high-performing teams while maintaining a strong commitment to people, purpose, and sustainable business success.
Most recently, Natalie served as Chief Executive Officer of Digicel Barbados, where she led one of the company’s highest revenue-generating markets, delivering revenue growth, strengthening market competitiveness, and overseeing the successful rollout of the island’s 5G network. Prior to this, she held senior leadership positions at The Barbados Light & Power Company and PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she led complex transformation initiatives, regional development programmes, and large-scale strategic projects.
Beyond her executive accomplishments, Natalie is widely respected for her contributions to national and regional development. She has served on several public and private sector boards and advisory bodies, including Barbados’ Digital Transformation Board, the Barbados Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Barbados Employers’ Confederation. A passionate advocate for inclusive leadership and digital transformation, she is recognized as a trusted voice on leadership, business, and the future of work across the Caribbean.
Her exceptional combination of strategic insight, commercial acumen, regional expertise, coupled with her proven ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and drive transformational growth, makes her uniquely positioned to help advance ANSA McAL’s ambitions in Barbados and the wider Eastern Caribbean.
She is the holder of an MBA with a specialism in Human Resources Management from Heriot-Watt University, a BSc in Management Studies with First Class Honours from the University of the West Indies Cave Hill Campus and has completed executive development programmes at the Richard Ivey School of Business and the Cave Hill School of Business.
