We are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. O. Linton Johnson as the new General Manager of Berger Paints Jamaica Limited (BPJL), effective August 17, 2026.
Mr. Johnson brings over 28 years of executive leadership experience across the Caribbean, with a track record in operational transformation, end-to-end supply chain optimisation, enterprise digital transformation, and business growth.
In his most recent role as Logistics Manager for a major distribution company with annual revenues of USD 200 million, Mr. Johnson led enterprise-wide operations and drove a series of transformative initiatives. His leadership contributed to a 40 per cent growth in sales over four years, the expansion of operational facilities by 60,000 square feet, and a 30 percent increase in productivity without additional staffing. He further championed the successful deployment of an integrated Warehouse Management System, improving on-time delivery performance to best-in-class levels while upholding a strong culture of safety.
Prior to that as the Business Excellence & Digital Transformation Manager for Nestlé Caribbean, Mr. Johnson directed digital strategy across four regional markets, sustaining a 15 percent increase in sales and a 25 percent reduction in inventory levels over five consecutive years.
A holder of a B.Sc. in Management Studies from the University of the West Indies, he has completed executive leadership training through Nestlé’s global training centres in Switzerland and Brazil.
In addition to his corporate accomplishments, he serves as Chairman of the Norman Manley International Airport and Jamaica Railway Corporation, Deputy Chairman of the Airports Authority of Jamaica, and Director of the Maritime Association of Jamaica.
Please join us in extending our congratulations to O. Linton Johnson on his appointment as General Manager of Berger Paints Jamaica Limited and wish him every success in his new role.
